Yalbalinga Cultural Garden

The new cultural garden was created in the courtyard of the Indigenous Higher Education Unit at the Strathfield Campus of ACU (Australian Catholic University). The gardens incorporate a Yarning Circle, Dancing Circle, Bush food & medicine, and tie together culture, spirituality, art and environment.

Materials for the project were sourced from throughout the eastern coast of Australia.
It was an absolute pleasure to be a part of this project and we were very happy with outcome.

Sacred Heart Yarning Circle
This was Tuff Yards first project with McNab and we would like to thank Levi Carsburg and Paul Greenhalgh for making this project a great result for all parties.
The time from the first email received asking for a quotation until we completed the project was only 3 weeks. This included all the procurement of resources from across Australia.
Shout out to local indigenous boys Rob Williams and Reece Kelly who help us complete this project on time. Also like to thank John Maris from DATSIP (Department of Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander Partnerships) at Charleville who was able to connect us with Rob and Reece.
